Blogging, Brides & Birthdays

Alright, I am going to tell you right now, that I make a terrible blogger... And it might always be that way. But I do enjoy doing it, so try to stick with me.

The last month (starting in the middle of May) seemed to be a little on the chaotic side. To start it off, I had my first wedding that I photographed along side the lovely Kira Shupe (pictured below) on the 18th of May. I thought it went pretty well, I still have a lot to learn though, and that's an understatement. The beginning of June came all too quickly, and on the 5th, I had my 21st birthday! 21? Really? I don't feel like I should be that old already. The 7th was my wonderful, supportive boyfriend's birthday. And combining those two, we decided to have a birthday party, which was on the 14th. So weeks leading up to that was just constant cleaning, cleaning, and a little more... Yepp, you guessed it, cleaning. The day passed just as quickly as it came, but it was by far my favorite birthday party to date, so thank you again to everyone who made it so special. The 23rd I headed up to Golden, CO for another wedding, this time, solo. You could say I was beyond nervous. I got there, and immediately felt better, everyone was so helpful, the bride was calm, and we were all there just to enjoy the day.

I am getting ready for two more weddings in the month of July, which happened to fall on the same weekend (I'm going to need A LOT of coffee!), I can't wait though, This photography thing, is so learn as you go, I feel like I'll never stop learning new things. That's what keeps it exciting. I certainly love what I do.
